Situated on the banks of the beautiful River Teign, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Dartmoor and the South Devon countryside whilst enjoying the hospitality, comfort and luxury of this country retreat.
This AA4 star hotel has fifteen individually-styled luxury bedrooms, comfy lounges, log fires and beautiful riverside gardens. Enjoy soft linen, fluffy bathrobes and all the mod cons you require to make your stay on Dartmoor extra special.
The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. and non-residents are very welcome too. Enjoy afternoon tea in the garden or by the fire, and a delicious local produce meal in the 2 Rosette award winning restaurant.
The hotel is the perfect place to base yourself to enjoy Dartmoor National Park. Walking, cycling, fishing and all manner of outdoor pursuits are yours to enjoy. Or just find a perfect spot to sit and soak up the Dartmoor view.
Just five minutes from the A30, and 25 minutes from Exeter, we're easy to get to but a million miles away. Devon's coasts are a short drive away. And we're dog-friendly too.
After a day on the moors, you’ll find a warm welcome back at Mill End. Let the pressures of the outside world fade to a distant memory as you enjoy a delicious meal in our restaurant, or simply relax in front of an open fire.

Breakfast includes our buffet selection, “Full English”, and fish options.
Our restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Devon Cream Teas are available all day.
Our evening menu offers a wide choice of starters, main courses and desserts for flexible dining. Starters are priced from £5.50, main courses from £11.00, desserts from £5.50. To avoid disappointment, it’s best to book a table for dinner.
Our Family Room has a double bed, a single, and ample space for an extra fold-out bed. We also have other rooms with space for an extra bed or cot. Children under 16 are charged at £15 per night when sharing with two adults, plus meals as taken. No charge for under twos in a cot. High tea can be arranged, between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
Mill End is a dog-friendly hotel. Dogs are very welcome, and are charged at £8 per dog per night.
