Teignmouth offers two distinct sides of town, with the traditional seafront, including a Victorian Pier, children’s play park, large open green called The Den and long promenade on one side and the harbour and river beach, home to local fishermen and water sports, on the other.
There is plenty available to entertain you in Teignmouth with crazy golf, a lido and skate park for the families to enjoy. There are galleries and art trails for those with a cultural interest, and the chance to take a ride on a small ferry across to Shaldon as well as have a go at paddle boarding or kayaking.

Across the river month on the other side of the estuary is the quaint coastal village of Shaldon, with its beaches, one accessed via a hidden tunnel, and amazing range of cafes and pubs it’s a fantastic places to visit for a day trip or to stay in its own right.
