Who we are

Visit South Devon is the official destination marketing organisation for East Devon, Mid Devon, Teignbridge and the South Hams. We are a not for profit, Community Interest Company which has been running for over 11 years - so any profit is put back into marketing South Devon.

Our aim is to promote South Devon as a year round, leading holiday destination which is at the forefront of visitors mind. We promote the area through our website, social media, e-newsletters, PR activity and visitor’s guide. As well as ensuring visitors select South Devon as their holiday destination, we want to help you get the most out of your marketing and ensure your business is promoted to the people looking to holiday in the South West and South Devon.

What we do

Online Listings

Every membership with us includes a listing on the website in 1 of the main site categories including; Things to Do, Where to Stay and Food and Drink. Every listing includes a minimum of contact details, website link, image, text, opening times and price, with our higher packages including enhanced facilities like your social media feeds, additional images and banner adverts.

We offer Book Now buttons on all our Silver and above listings, this button allows visitors to be referred directly to the availability calendar and online booking pages on your own website.

Visitors Guide

Each year Visit South Devon produces a visitor’s guide. This is a popular marketing tool for many of our members and there are various prices and advert sizes available to suit all budgets.

PR and Promotion

Visit South Devon regularly works with many national companies to promote the region and our members through joint promotions and awareness campaigns.

We send out regular press releases and build good relationships with key journalists, as well as responding to relevant press enquires to ensure that South Devon is at the forefront of press and media minds.
