The Exchange, formerly the Telephone Exchange complete with iconic red phone box is a detached, modern and bright eco home perfect for couples and extended families, located in the pretty village of Galmpton very close to Hope Cove. The layout provides flexible and spacious accommodation with a ground floor bedroom and shower room, along with a contemporary kitchen and stylish lounge/diner. French doors from the lounge lead to a sunny decked area with views of the rolling countryside to enjoy a morning coffee and croissant, or a glass of bubbles at sunset. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms, both with en suites and beautifully furnished.
Galmpton is located just ½ mile from the beautiful seaside village of Hope Cove with two golden sandy beaches, village shop and several pubs/restaurants not to mention The Cottage Hotel where a wonderful Devon cream tea can be enjoyed! It is a perfect location for scenic walks, soaking up the glorious South Hams beaches, sampling the local seafood delights and exploring the sailing towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth.
Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), heating by underfloor heating. Travel cot (no bed linen), and 2 stair gates.
Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available and mobile reception is dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking.
Pets: 1 dog welcome. Pet charge £30 per week.
Electric Vehicles: Electric vehicle charging possible via outdoor 13amp socket. Charge £30 per week.
Short Breaks: Short breaks available in the low and mid-season, 4 weeks in advance.
Local Facilities: Shop and two sandy beaches within 0.7 mile in Hope Cove. 3 pubs/restaurants within Hope Cove. Fuel Station, well stocked Co-op and 2 pubs in Malborough, 2 miles away. Kingsbridge and Salcombe with all facilities within 5 miles. Delightful walk on the door step to Hope Cove and the South Coast path with far reaching views to Thurlestone Sands.
