Ideally situated on the southern tip of Dartmoor, the Dartmoor Lodge makes the perfect base to explore the region’s delights.
The treasures of the moor are on our doorstep, with the beautiful, rugged and untamed scenery of the national park a thrill to explore. The holiday beaches of South Devon are also nearby. Having been built in the 1930s, during the golden age of motoring, we make a convenient base from which to venture farther afield as well.
Our restaurant is informal and relaxed. Delicious home cooked food is complemented by an extensive range of locally produced real ales. Our Sunday carveries are locally renowned for a very good reason.
Accommodation is pleasant and comfortable, with many of our rooms recently refurbished. One of the region’s only privately owned hotels, we will do all we can to ensure your stay with us is enjoyable. What is more, we do so at an affordable price, making the Dartmoor Lodge the ideal place for a family holiday.
