The Arches, is a pretty and characterful property situated in the heart of the beloved village of Slapton. This super home when coupled with the annex has the ability to sleep 8 people, and with parking and gardens is sure to be a popular choice for families and friends looking to spend quality time together. The lounge is a good size with log burner for the cooler evenings creating a cosy ambience, the kitchen is well equipped with a double oven and an aga (strictly available October- March), and there’s plenty of living areas to relax in, and the outside space is lovely for al fresco dining in the warmer months, The Arches is an excellent home to enjoy your South Devon holiday.
The picturesque village of Slapton boasts two excellent pubs, a community village shop well stocked with local produce, play park and some stunning walks around Slapton Ley. The millennium field at the top of the village is a fantastic viewpoint for gazing out over the village to Start Bay and the lighthouse at Start Point. This divine village is situated less than a mile from Slapton Sands, and access to the South West Coast Path, and is 20 minutes’ drive from the bustling market town of Kingsbridge and the historic town of Dartmouth. The bohemian hub of Totnes is also a 30 minute drive, with Dartmoor a little further on. This popular village is superb for exploring all the delights the South Hams has to offer.
