261 reviewsFour cosy glamping pods offer you a warm welcome at Parkland, an AA five gold star adults only touring, camping and glamping site located just one mile from Kingsbridge within the South Devon National Landscape area.
Blackbird and Robin, our two larger pods are furnished with a super-king bed. The bed can be made for you as a double or two singles, all prepared with quality linens for your arrival.
You will also find two comfy day chairs, a TV and hairdryer, There is also a compact kitchen area complete with breakfast bar dining, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, hot plate and air fryer along with various crockery and utensils.
These two larger pods also have the additional facility of an ensuite WC with wash hand basin. Please note though that there is not an ensuite shower, you of course have full use of the onsite five star amenities which include large showers and baths. Bath and hand towels are provided for you.
Sparrow and Wren are smaller pods and are furnished with a standard double bed, all prepared with linen for your arrival. You will find a comfy sofa, TV and hairdryer. Within the pods you have kitchenette facilities with breakfast bar dining, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, hot plate and air fryer along with various crockery and utensils.
Please note that the two smaller pods do not have ensuite facilities but you of course have access to our full five star amenities with individual washrooms with WC, showers and baths. Bath and hand towels are provided for you.
All the pods are heated for your comfort (when required) and have their own outside decking and garden area with seating. Parking is available for one car per unit.
On arrival you will receive a complimentary welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar and milk. Onsite at Parkland there is licensed shop, laundry and guest lounge with sofas, TV, lending library and board games.
Each pod can accommodate a maximum of two adults (aged 18 and over). Please note that Parkland is a non dog site.
Parkland is ideally situated for exploring the stunning area of outstanding natural beauty in South Devon. The area has plenty to offer all, whether you like to ramble the South west coast path or relax on glorious sandy beaches and secluded coves such as Bentham, Thurlestone, South Milton, Hope Cove and South Sands, plus many more.
Explore historic and picturesque towns such Dartmouth, Salcombe and Totnes. Meander around various open gardens abundant with flora and fauna.
For the more active traveller the area offers an abundance of water sports, sailing, fishing and golf.
At the end of your active or relaxing day you will find many fine establishments to dine in (or takeaway), many offer local produce from the farms and fields, along with the well known Salcombe clan and the catch of the day!

Parkland is Tourist signed from A381, which is the best approach from the Devon Expressway (A38).
On the A38 (south bound) take the A384 for Totnes.
From Totnes take the A381 for Kingsbridge, follow the main road for twelve miles, until you arrive at Stumpy Post Cross, at this roundabout follow the signs to the right (Parkland sign) for another mile where you come to Sorley Green Cross, go straight across at the junction and Parkland is 200 yards on the left hand side.
Parkland is located one mile north of Kingsbridge on the A381.
