Dawlish Celebrates Carnival is back for 2024! Saturday 10th August – Friday 16th August, with another week of jam-packed Carnival fun! There really is something for everyone.
There's the celebration of the 50th anniversary of 'The Knock Out', our highly popular Pram Race on Tuesday evening and many children's activities alongside new events like; 'Sing It 24' and a Bollywood themed evening on Thursday.
Make sure you don't miss the 'Duck Race', where we release a ginormous flock of rubber ducks into The Brook – will your duck win?
Every day on the lawn, there will be a marquee open for refreshments, a daily market at the Piazza, fairground rides, inflatables, and much, much more.
On Friday night, to close a wonderful week of celebrations is our traditional Carnival parade through the town centre, this year, back by very popular demand we have the incredible Carnival touring group 'Rampage Mas' – a spectacle not to be missed!
