DadFest will be celebrating six years as the UK’s only festival just for dads, male carers and their children when the annual festival takes place in South Devon again this September. The festival is organised by Totnes-based ‘Dangerous Dads’.
DadFest 2019 will provide a range of adventurous activities including camping, storytelling in the woods at night, bushcraft, campfire pancakes, spoon carving, den building, bat walk, archery, star-gazing, water rockets, drumming workshop, kids’ entertainer, award-winning local food and beer, Live Music, Mud Kitchen, Mackerel fishing and Bat Walks; as well as the now renowned ‘World Dad Dancing Championship’ which featured last year on BBC’s The One Show.
DadFest will take place from 13-15 September at the Forest & Beach centre in Beeson, South Devon, which specialises in providing outdoor activities with its own camping field, woodlands and large converted barn. See www.forestandbeach.co.uk
