End of season awards recognition for Event Exeter
Event Exeter at the University of Exeter celebrate being shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards.
Following a busy summer season, involving the successful management of over 1200 events, the Event Exeter team have been recognised by being shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards.

Devon Tourism Awards
The first shortlisting is from the Devon Tourism Awards in the ‘Business Event Venue of the Year’ category, which is designed to recognise the diversity and complexity of high profile events in the region.

Now in its 10th year, selection for the Devon Tourism Awards has changed slightly, with judges not only looking at an extensive awards submission, but also carrying out a full evaluation of Event Exeter’s online presence – website, social media and third party listings.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held on 28th November at the Riviera Centre, Torquay.

Conference News – Academic Venue Awards
Secondly, the Commercial Marketing Team who manage all aspects of Event Exeter’s marketing has been shortlisted as ‘Best Sales and Marketing Team’ at this year’s Conference News Academic Venue Awards.

This shortlisting follows an 18 month journey of change for Event Exeter’s marketing, with a revamped brand, new website and a digital strategy.
Winners will be announced on 22nd November at the Victory Services Club in London.
