161 reviewsThe East Dart Inn is in Postbridge, at the heart of Dartmoor and the local community. We have a bar area, rear beer garden and a large front garden.
We offer both locals and visitors to the area, a varied menu of breakfasts, light lunches, cream teas, pizzas, and a selection of main meals, including pub classics like fish and chips and also have a specials board. We hold a steak night on the last Saturday of every month.
We also have Sunday roasts, starting at 12 noon, for which booking is advisable.
The bar has the local Dartmoor brewery ales, our own pilsner, ciders, and guest drinks. Tea and coffees also are available.
We also have a games room with a pool table and dart board.
We are a perfect stopping point while exploring the moors and the local area, including the clapper bridge and the Dartmoor National Park visitor centre, which are both a few minutes’ walk away. Our log burner will be there to warm you on chilly days, and our ice cream parlour will be open on those warmer days in the summer.
We also have a wood fired pizza oven in the rear garden, with pizzas made to order while you wait.
Groups can be catered for in our function room, for a lunchtime stop over or a cream tea. Please contact us to see if we can accommodate your requirements.
There are also eight bed and breakfast rooms within the property. If you would like to stay and explore the moors and Devon for longer.
We are dog friendly throughout the Inn, including the rooms, bar, and gardens.
