Exmouth Festival; 26th May – 3rd June
A great week of family entertainment awaits at the annual Exmouth Festival. Live music, arts & crafts, children's activities, food & drink.

Ticket to Ride – A Sixties Celebration. Get your ticket and take a ride back to the 1960s; a Magical Mystery Tour of groovy music, psychedelic fashion, mods & rockers and a radical real ale festival that will give you the Hippy Hippy Shakes! We’d love to see you in fab sixties gear!
Pirate Week - Crealy Adventure Park 27th May - 4th June
Join Crealy for their annual swashbuckling event, Pirate Week, this May half term and enjoy an adventure with the Crealy Pirates. Their second new ride for 2017, The Jolly Roger, will be setting sail for its maiden voyage during May half term! Visit from 27th May and you will be among the first to ride this all-new giddy galleon, which will have the whole family in a spin.
Dawlish Art Festival; 27th May – 3rd June
The Dawlish Arts Festival is a week-long festival with events taking place throughout each day, it will include music for every taste, poetry, dance, children's activities, walking town tours, flower displays, exhibitions, crafts and family events.
River Cottage Food Fair; 27th – 29th May
The Fair is a real family occasion and is packed full of activities and family fun – from chef demos, artisan food stalls, kids’ workshops, talks and live music to garden and foraging tours from River Cottage foraging guru John Wright.
Dartington Food Fair; 28th – 29th May
Now into its seventh year, a whole host of local star chefs and local producers will come together on Sunday 28th and Monday 29th May, to showcase a true taste of Devon delights. The two-day family event will see visitors treated to the county’s finest food and drink, with the opportunity to watch mouth-wateringly good workshops and be inspired for the summer season ahead.
Smugglers and Sea Dogs at Dartmouth Castle; 28th May – 2nd June
Expect fun, games and a yo ho ho or two this half term. Budding young marauders will enjoy musket drills, a smugglers’ quest, and tales of dastardly deeds in Dartmouth’s swashbuckling past.
Powderham Castle – Pirates and Mermaids; 28th May – 2nd June
Captain Jack and his pocketwatch crew bring the summer themes to a close before they all set sail come and see if they have managed to catch a mermaid!Themed sessions take place at specified times.
Pirate Week – May Half Term at World of County Life; 29th May – 4th June
Ah haaa me hearties! We be havin' a whole week of swash bucklin' fun here at World of Country Life with all sorts of piratey activities throughout the week so come along and join the party! Shiver me timbers! Walk the plank! Remember, all the usual daily shows and activities - like bottle feeding, animal handling, goat walking and ferret racing - are on every day as well!
Alice in Wonderland at Kents Cavern; 29th May – 2nd June
Brand new for 2017: experience the magic of Alice in Wonderland underground at Kents Cavern. Through the looking glass and take part in Butterfly Theatre's adaptation of; Lewis Carroll's famous Alice in Wonderland. Enjoy this promenade performance telling the enchanted tale of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
Summer Half Term at Pennywell; 29th May – 2nd June
Schools out and we have an action packed week of farmyard fun, animal antics, rustic rides and super shows like Poco Drom, and Elfic the Jester to make a happy half term.
Racing at Newton Abbot Racecourse; 30th May
Enjoy a great day out at Newton Abbot Racecourse. Tickets are priced at £19 for the Paddock Enclosure and £12 for the Course Enclosure. Tickets can be booked online prior to the day of the meet. There will also be tickets available at the gate on the day.
Kingsbridge Food and Music Festival; 2nd – 4th June
This three-day celebration takes place between June 2 and 4 and will showcase local tastes and sounds. The stunning waterside town square in Kingsbridge is the backdrop for a food and music lovers' heaven — featuring a tempting array of locally produced delicacies to enjoy while listening to an eclectic mix of talented musicians.
Torbay Air Show; 3rd - 4th June
The two day show, which had its inaugural event last year takes place on Paignton Green with the Bay providing a stunning natural amphitheatre for viewing the air displays and the perfect location for a large coastal airshow event.
Darts Farm Classic Car & Vehicle Show; 4th June
