Rest Cottage is a charming, comfortable two bedroom home, with a sunny garden, parking and accepting two dogs, situated in the village of Stokenham with a great pub, farm shop and scenic walks, along with easy access to the Dartmouth-Kingsbridge coastal road.
The main bedroom offers a serene window seat to enjoy views across the village and out over Start Bay. Downstairs the lounge has a log burner-perfect for the cooler days, curling up with a film in the evening. The summer room (referred to as the Scout hut by the owners) offers additional dining space and space to relax and play games.
The kitchen is well equipped with a cosy dining area and electric feature log burner perfect for a small family or group of friends to enjoy time together.
Opposite the cottage is access to Brooking Woods-perfect for a stroll with the dog or to the village shop in Chillington. Guests can also meander along the lanes to Stokeley Farm Shop, Café and Tap House, or a little further to the seaside village of Torcross.
Rest Cottage is a great property to unwind and enjoy your precious free time.
Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), electric storage and panel heating, electric log burner and traditional log burner.
Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available and mobile reception is dependent upon your provider. Please check with your provider prior to booking.
Pets: 2 Well behaved dog’s welcome. Pet charge £30 per pet per week.
