The New Continental Hotel not only offers 99 bedrooms, with a mix of; standard, superior, family, twins, four-poster deluxe and singles, but also ample city centre parking, a leisure complex, complete with; sauna, steam room, heated indoor pool and air-conditioned gyms, a restaurant, bar elegant functions rooms, meeting spaces and conference facilities.
Club Continental is the hotels leisure complex. Open 7 days a week and FREE to hotel residents. Each member of the team is a personal trainer and can offer you support and advice during your stay. If you want to skip the work-out and simply want to relax, you can unwind in the sauna and steam room, the perfect holiday chill-out!
Part of the holiday fun is the holiday food! With a wide range of sumptuous menu options, you’re guaranteed to find a dish that will make your taste buds tingle! Each one the kitchen teamwork with pride & passion, from the kitchen porter right through to the waiters and Head Chef. So, whether you’re looking to wine & dine around glowing candlelight or laugh with friends & family among an almighty feast, Steve’s Brasserie or the hotel’s Roma Bar experiences will be ones that you take with you long after you’ve checked out or left the restaurant.

ROAD – The A38 Devon Expressway links Plymouth to the motorway network with a drive time from London of approx. 3.5 hours. Whichever way you come into Plymouth you will find the New Continental Hotel by following the signs clearly sign posted for Plymouth Pavilions, the hotel’s neighbours! Firstly you will need to follow the signs for Plymouth City Centre. When you are near the city centre follow the brown tourist signs marked “Pavilions”. For more detailed directions visit google maps. The New Continental has a large car park with a daily charge of £5.00. We have a large car park. capable of parking for over 80 cars. This is on a first served basis and there is a charge of just £3.00 per day.

RAIL – First Great Western runs a local service from Paddington which takes approx. 3.5 hours. Virgin Cross Country also offers direct services from the Midlands, North of England and Scotland. A gentle walk from the train station will take you approximately 15 minutes; alternatively there are Taxi Ranks outside that will drop you off at the New Continental Hotel reception for less that £10.00 and takes roughly 5 minutes depending on traffic.
COACH – Plymouth has a new Coach Station, recently completed in 2017. Connected to every city in the UK. We are approximately a 10-minute gentle walk, or 5 minute taxi journey from the station.
