Mannings Barn

Mannings Barn is tucked away in the hamlet of Capton, only four miles from Dartmouth and one and a half miles from the village of Dittisham on the River Dart. Set in three acres of gardens and orchard and provides a tranquil setting for an escape to the country.

This beautiful cosy cottage sleeps 2 - 4 people, perfect for a week or short break getaway. For families with young children, a travel cot, highchair and stair gates can be provided at no extra cost. 

The tasteful and comfortable accommodation provides a downstairs sitting area and a well equipped kitchen/diner which opens onto the orchard. The utility room has a washer/dryer together with facilities for ironing.

An open plan staircase leads to one double bedroom and one twin-bedded room with wardrobes, a bathroom and a second sitting area with TV, video and DVD.

Central heating, electricity, cotton bed-linen and towels are included.

On the west side there is a sunny patio for sitting and al-fresco dining, with lovely views towards the moors. There are many walks to be explored and the garden is ideal for relaxation.

Our guests receive a complimentary bottle of wine and fresh flower arrangements throughout the Barn.

There is a wide range of activities and sightseeing in the local area, and the surrounding villages have pubs full of Devon character, providing a varied choice for eating out.

With three acres of land and gardens to explore, well behaved dogs and owners are welcome!
