Experience life in the slow lane: learn how trees go about their lives in our amazing ancient woodland. From mighty oaks, ash, beech and hazel – there will be something for novices and those more familiar with British trees. Guided walk with the site ranger, with the opportunity to learn about how the site is managed, the different tree species we have here at Slapton, and the wildlife that depends on them. Foldout guides can be borrowed during the walk and can be purchased at the end.

We will be outside so please dress appropriately for the weather.
Expect to be walking through uneven terrain.
