St David's Players are proud to present The Yeomen of the Guard, one of Gilbert and Sullivan's best operettas.
It's a balmy midsummer's evening in the Tower of London.
The unexpected arrival of a pair of glamorous travelling ENSA singers sets in motion a series of madcap misunderstandings and romantic rendezvous among the already-somewhat-steamed-up members of the tower community.
Plots are plotted and unplotted. Loves are requited, and unrequited, and requited. By morning, every life has changed and every heart has been meddled with.
Widely held to be Sullivan's greatest and most operatic score, Yeomen of the Guard deftly encompasses the realms of comedy and tragedy.
Prepare to hear many well-loved songs, including 'I have a song to sing, O!', and 'When a Wooer goes a-wooing'.
Adults: £17.00 - £19.50
Children: £10
