Audience at the Palace – The Story of Greenway, John Risdon
These days Greenway largely attracts visitors thanks to the name of Agatha Christie, her 'ideal, dream house' purchased in 1938. She, together with her second husband Max Mallowan, fully appreciated the status and true heritage of what she was purchasing; a time line of English history stretching back to the Tudor era played out in one of the country's most beautiful settings. This talk, aptly taking place on Agatha Christie's birth date, illuminates this unique story of England and its part played on the World's stage.

From Paignton Bus and Rail Stations, walk towards the level crossing and turn left into Victoria Street (pedestrian precinct). At the top of this street take the pedestrian crossing into Palace Avenue. The Theatre is at the top end of the garden. (5-10 minutes' walk)
