Ballet Theatre UK bring to life one of Tchaikovsky's most famous and popular compositions, The Nutcracker. This well-loved traditional Christmas ballet will be performed in a unique setting with 24 international dancers, from companies around the world. The Nutcracker ballet recounts the adventures of young girl Clara the night before Christmas. As the clock strikes midnight, strange things begin to happen… her toys around the tree come to life, while the room fills with an army of mice. Clara journeys into a world of magical Snowflakes, dancing dolls and a Christmas tree that reaches the sky. This opulent new production promises magical choreography, exquisite costumes, breath-taking scenery and an atmosphere of fantasy and illusion set to the music of Tchaikovsky's most loved and unforgettable musical score. With grand sets and stunning costumes, The Nutcracker, promises to be a highlight on the calendar for the whole family. Minimum age 3 years.
