The Nello 2025

A big hello from FORCE Cancer Charity in Exeter, Devon.

We wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about our major cycling event, The Nello, which is celebrating its 25th year. The Nello has a 60-mile route or a 100-mile route and will take place on Sunday 19th June 2025. We can promise you'll have a fantastic day at this brilliant event!

This fantastic feel-good event was started in 2000 by Marc Millon, in memory of his friend Nello Ghezzo. Since the first Nello Century Cycle Challenge in 2000, the ride has raised nearly £1.3m for FORCE Cancer Charity, which works locally to support anyone affected by cancer, face-to-face and close to home. Be a part of something magical this year and sign up now!

Discipline: Road Cycling
Distances: 60 miles | 100 miles

Location start / finish point: Topsham Rugby Club
Entry limit: 1,500
Age limit: 14 years (18 unaccompanied)

Key points to note:
• Everyone is welcome on this ride.
• The event is not a sportive and it is not chip timed. It is a fun, social ride that many riders do year after year.
• It would be a great event for a club trip with beautiful countryside, great food stations and lots of accommodation options available.
• Any sort of bike is permitted. We are aware of the growing trend in electric bikes and we have no problem with Nello cyclists using one. It's all about taking part.
• Finish off your ride by celebrating at our Event Village at Topsham Rugby Club with spectators very welcome!
