Join us for the MCS Great British beach Clean. Help to tidy up the beautiful Slapton Sands and help contribute to the Marine Conservation Societies National Beach Clean Report. Challenge yourself to collect as much rubbish as you can. Weigh the rubbish you collect to see if you can get your name on the beach clean leader board. Bags will be provided, please bring your own gloves. There will be free whippy ice cream, tea, or coffee for participants from the Start Bay Inn. Why help clean the beaches? Virtually all plastic ever made still exists, and it is believed it will take between 500 and 1,000 years for it to degrade. So please come and help us reduce the amount of plastic on Slapton Sands.
