A day to remember, at Shoalstone Seawater Pool, Brixham. There will be live music, a Costume Fancy Dress Parade, Races, 1950's seaside children's games and a competition for the Best Dressed Beach Hut and owner. Go Fifties!!
Around the Pool
INFLATABLE RACES and 1950's Costume Fancy Dress Parade.
1.00pm – 1.45pm Registration for both races and costume parade. Note: you can only enter if you can swim 50m unaided.
2.00 pm Welcome and Costume Fancy Dress Parade begins. Theme 1950's. Winners will be chosen by 'Clapometer'
2.30pm - 3.00 pm Races - Shoalstone will be provide inflatables for fun races.
2.30 & 2.35pm Under 12s – Inflatables races- get in and onto a float…ready, steady, go,
two widths)
2.40 & 2.45pm Under 16s – Inflatables races
2.50 pm Relay race - up to 20 teams of 4, all ages, in fancy dress (50s) costumes
2.55 pm Open Race - a free for all to be the fastest across the pool (up to 20)
BEST DRESSED BEACH HUT COMPETITION - our Lifeguards will be the tough judges for the best dressed Beach Hut and their owners.
ON THE GREEN - Picnic area and Children's 1950's seaside games – photo ops and throw the rat into the pirates' chest! There will be a marquee in case of bad weather and this is a good spot to watch the Red Arrows Air Display.
