Theatre With Teeth & Exeter University Theatre Company present MakeTank MiniFest, a celebration of theatre and music in the heart of Exeter

This August 16th - 19th head to Maketank for performances from Theatre with Teeth, Exeter University Theatre Company, and special guests Solstice Events Band!

Theatre With Teeth presents: Me, Myself, Myself, Myself, Myself by Nelly Weston
She is awake at 4am. Again.
She's not lonely, or sad, or anything. She's just awake. And what better time to distract yourself from feeling anything at all? She's got four more versions of herself to help her do just that.
'Me, Myself...' follows our protagonist and an ensemble of her own thoughts who seek light-hearted, playful ways to suppress and distract from their melancholy. However, it becomes apparent that avoidance is not always the answer.
Sometimes you need to be your own best friend, but there's nothing wrong with accepting a little help, either.

Note: this play will only be performing from the 16th-18th and contains themes of mental health issues, with references to insomnia, alcoholism
Exeter University Theatre Company presents: The Amber Trap by Tabitha Mortiboy
Young couple Katie and Hope work at their local corner shop. While Hope is openly gay, Katie struggles to accept her lesbian identity. Manager Jo has her own complicated relationship. When 18-year-old Michael is hired, he falls for Katie and struggles to accept her relationship with Hope; hostility develops.
'The Amber Trap' perfectly encapsulates the meaning of relationships and the different experiences that people, namely women, can suffer through. It explores how being a product of societal toxic masculinity touches the lives of four characters, all brought together by one corner shop.
