Experience the Magic at Pennywell this Christmas!
️ North Pole Check-In: Arrive at the magical North Pole where you will be greeted by our friendly Elves and checked-in! Collect your Christmas passport and get the stamps as you journey through our Christmas experience.
Live Nativity Scene: It's then time to journey back 2000 years, as the Christmas Nativity begins. Travel to Bethlehem to find an inn for the night. After finding a vacancy in our cosy main barn, experience a real manger with all the Pennywell animals looking on. The scene is set and the story of the first Christmas comes to life.
Christmas Animal Cuddles: After the Nativity, you'll experience Christmas close encounters with some of our amazing animals. Tickle, touch, and stroke our Pennywell Miniature piglets, and other furry friends.
Visit Father Christmas: Next, enter our sparkly enchanted forest where Father Christmas will be waiting in his grotto with a special gift for every child. Group visits to Father Christmas will be limited to a maximum of 2 families at a time.
Your Ticket will Include Access to the Christmas Village where you can enjoy:
Complimentary Festive Treats: After the Nativity, head to Noah's Barn for Christmas cheer with a delicious mince pie and warming drink for the adults and a homemade Christmas biscuit and cold drink for the children.
Elves Sweetshop: Enjoy a visit to the Elves Sweetshop with a complimentary bag of yummy sweets for every child.
Tractor & Trailer Ride: Jump on the Tractor and trailer ride and see if you can spot the gingerbread men hiding along the way.
Indoor & Outdoor Play: Enjoy our bouncy castles in Noah's Barn, and access to our new Treetops Adventure Towers!
Countless Instagrammable Moments: Experience our incredible Christmassy photo ops under a canopy of festoon lights, and capture memories that will last a lifetime.
Woodland Wonderland: Enjoy magical moments roaming through Christmas trees enjoying the photo ops you find on the way!
Visit the Reindeer Shed: Take a sneak peek at where Father Christmas' Reindeer stay while he visits Pennywell. Please note that the Reindeer are very busy training for Christmas Eve, so won't be able to make an appearance!
Family Games: Play Christmas 3 in a row and more!
Christmas Bar*: Enjoy local pints of cider, beer, and ale, plus luxury hot chocolates from our Christmas bar!
Marshmallow Toasting Experience*: Warm by our Fire Pits and toast a delicious marshmallow!
Food & Drink*: Our Treetops Takeaway and Noah's Barn food outlet will be open serving Pizza, Pasties, Sausage Rolls, Sandwiches, and more.
*Please note that drinks from the bar, marshmallows to toast, and food and drink (excluding your complimentary items listed above), are not included and will be available to purchase.
You will need to allow between 2 – 2.5 hours for the experience, but you can stay longer in our Christmas Village if you would like to.
❌ Please note that the farm is only open for our Christmas experiences at this time of year. The Christmas Village only includes the top end of the farm, and the rest of the farm, rides, animal experiences, and activities will not be open or running at this time.

Pennywell is situated in an unnamed country lane which has its own signposted exit from the A38. You may need to continue on the road for a few hundred yards after your sat nav tells you that you have arrived!

Bus
There is no direct bus service to Pennywell but the A38 runs between Plymouth and Exeter and stops in the town of Buckfastleigh which is just over a mile away. Contact Stagecoach on 01392 427711 or visit the website: www.stagecoachbus.com for further information.
You can then make the walk up to the farm from here or book a taxi.
