Powderham Castle - Lockdown Festival

We are delighted to confirm that LOCKDOWN, the South‐West’s biggest dance music festival, will return to the magnificent Powderham Castle, Exeter on the weekend of the 1st to the 3rd of September 2017.

LOCKDOWN will be spread across four stages over the 3 days, and will feature well‐known brands such UKF, Hospitality, Playaz, Hatcha & Friends and Garage Nation stages, with more TBA.

Camping will be available on site from Friday 1st ‐ Monday 4h September, with free hot showers in the camping area; PLUS the option to book pre‐pitched tents from CAMPLITUDE and glamping upgrades with WOW Tents. Our VIP enclosure offers exclusive, comfy chillout areas, luxury toilets and its own bars. LOCKDOWN will also feature a funfair, multiple bars and a wide range of quality food outlets, selling food from around the world.

The Venue:

Powderham Castle is located in a unique, picturesque setting just outside Exeter, beside the Exe estuary.

Six hundred years of history are contained within the walls of one of England’s oldest family homes. Sir Philip Courtenay began building it in 1391 and it has remained in the same family to this day, currently home to the 18th Earl & Countess of Devon.

The magical setting and convenient location makes it the perfect venue for all manner of events including weddings and business functions and now of course, Let’s Rock Exeter! For locals and visitors to Devon it is a ‘must see’ and with its many attractions – a wonderful family day out!
