The nation's funkiest 10 piece band with an insanely loyal local following.
We bring you 3 great vocalists, a driving rhythm section and a kicking horn section that won't stay still for a second. This band really do love what they do; their on-stage energy is infectious and they create a fantastic atmosphere.
Joey the Lips is best described as Soul/Blues & Funk with a bit of Disco, Motown & Rock thrown in. They make the songs they cover their own. They describe the show as 'Funky Soul, Blues & Disco Revue'! Whilst Soul is still the staple diet, today's set is very diverse; from 'Gimme Some Lovin' (Spencer Davis Group) to Beyonce's 'Crazy in Love'. From 'River Deep Mountain High' to Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now' and the band's storming finale of the B52's 'Love Shack' - with a heavy metal medley thrown in.
Fast, fun and furious - we guarantee you won't be able to sit still! Unmissable.

Our key advice to car drivers is to avoid approaching Sheldon via Haldon hill and Doddiscombsleigh village. These roads are narrow, rough and very steep in several places so are best avoided.
Unfortunately, most satnavs and route planning websites are not clever enough to realise this, so here's our advice for a smooth journey.
If you approach Sheldon via Exeter or the A30, take the B3212 through Longdown, turn left onto the B3193 and follow it South and then South East until you reach the Teign House Inn, turn left here and follow the road over a wide bridge then a narrow humped bridge and turn left onto Sheldon Lane.
If you approach Sheldon via the Devon Expressway/A38, take the Chudleigh/Teign Valley turning, turn right and right again to follow the B3193 North until you reach the Teign House Inn, turn right here and follow the road over a wide bridge then a narrow humped bridge and turn left onto Sheldon Lane.
Either route is okay coming from the M5, but the second (A38) one is the easier, especially after dark.
