Honiton Charter day celebrates the awarding of the Royal charter in 1257 which granted rights for a weekly market.

The event has been celebrated in the town annually since 2017 and is a day for local charities and groups to raise funds and awareness of their good work

All day will see the traditional Honiton street market, with numerous stalls, there will also be the annual Classic Car Show as well as a fine selection of fun and entertainment, bouncy castle, plate smashing, boot sale, dog show, refreshments and a bbq plus much more...

There will be a whole range of entertainment in the High Street including, among others, Stan John Bagpiper, Exewing, Punch & Judy and the Honiton Tudor Dancers, being held at various locations including St Pauls, The Baptist Church, Abbeyfield, and the library.

The library are going be open where there will be a display of 'Honiton heroes'. A short biography of all those who are listed on Honiton War Memorial who fell in WWI.
