Free Admission for Armed Forces and Veterans

Dartmoor Zoo has long had strong connections with the armed forces – to show our gratitude and appreciation we are gifting free entry to all serving and ex-serving personnel on Saturday the 9th.
A massive thank you to all those from the armed forces who have helped us out at Dartmoor Zoo – all Armed Forces and ex-serving personnel please show your ID, DD form or Veteran ID to come to the zoo for free this Saturday 9th ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
Dartmoor Zoo's links with the services goes deep. The Royal Marines Brazilian Ju Jitsu Team who installed Chincha the Jaguar's platform by hand in torrential rain. The guys from HMS Drake's Hasler Regiment – visiting the zoo to help with groundskeeping and enclosure development. The Army Recruitment boys helping us to keep the place looking beautiful. The Royal Marines Commando Training Centre in Lympstone donating replaced ropework and other things useful to animals that love to climb, swing and pull!
