Food & Drink Events

Food and drink is an important part of any trip and can help create wonderful holiday memories. So what better way to experience the fresh local produce on offer then at one of the many Food and Drink events in South Devon or festivals taking place across the region.

From small food fairs and farmers markets to festivals and workshops, South Devon's food loving nature is clear to see.

To sample your food fresh from the source or local produces that have made or baked it head to one of the many wonderful local farmers markets or food markets which are held monthly in towns throughout South Devon. The stalls and traders from the local area sell the best that South Devon has to offer, so they’re the best place to head to pick up ingredients for dinner or supplies for a picnic.

Some of the most loved food and drink events in Devon are Food Festivals. Held mostly in the spring and autumn months these one day or weekend long events are jam packed with the regions finest food, the freshest of produce, top notch local beers, ciders, wines and soft drinks. With most types of food on offer to enjoy during the event or to take home for later a visit to a food festival won’t leave you disappointed or hungry.

Even if the event you are planning on visiting isn’t a dedicated Food and Drink event it doesn’t mean that you will miss out on great tasting food and refreshing drinks, as many of the regions music festivals, village shows and craft events will be serving up great food, drink and testy treats from some of the region’s top producers.
