A one-day workshop designed especially for those who want to explore the possibilities of foam free church decorations.
Whether you are an experienced florist, flower arranger on the church rota or simply want to decorate your church economically, we would like to welcome you to our studio.
Our tutors have pooled their knowledge and design experience to develop novel and practical solutions to your sustainability dilemmas. In our design studio, we will problem solve the real issues of sustainability in church flower design and share with you some realistic economical alternatives to floral foam.
We will outline the foam alternatives commercially available, show you correct techniques, demonstrate novel solutions, share design ideas, and problem solve for specific projects. Full details on our website
£150.for the day.
You will make two designs, which can be photographed and evaluated in our own local church to give you immediate accurate and informative feedback on scale, durability, and impact.
To keep costs down please bring a packed lunch, your own containers, and flowers (garden foliage is welcome). – We will give you a list of flowers and foliage to bring, similar to what you would use for the church flower rota. We will also give you an idea of which containers to bring.
Please join us for a practical problem-solving day!
