Exeter Live Better Marathon 2022

Our course is ideal for those competing for the first time as well as seasoned runners looking for a fast time. The event runs along a great, traffic-free, flat route along the footpath and cycle track of the River Exe and Exeter Canal.

Set in one of the South West’s most active cities, there will be plenty of beautiful locations to admire along the course, for both runners and those coming to support you along the way.

The Exeter Live Better Marathon is the perfect opportunity to inspire yourself and others and run for a good cause. Why not take on the challenge and raise funds for ourselves, our charity partners or a charity close to your heart.

The race starts at 8:45am and is open to runners aged 18 years and over. The maximum time permitted for completing the distance is six hours, and there will be timed cut-off points along the route for runners unable to maintain the minimum expected pace.

As always, our runners will not only leave with the pride of having completed a marathon, they’ll also get their very own Exeter Live Better Marathon medal and finishers’ t-shirt!

We have a limited number of free places to those who wish to take part to raise money for us. As a charity, we rely on donations and fundraising to help us fund our vital community programmes, so we’d love to have you take part in this event for us.
