Exeter Festival Chorus close its 25th anniversary year by proudly performing in Exeter's historic cathedral a choral concert of special music with conductor Nigel Perrin and featuring The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Lympstone and guest artist Roderick Williams baritone.
One hundred years since the Armistice was declared in November 2018 marking the end of the First World War, Exeter Festival Chorus commemorates this momentous historical event with an evening featuring music around the theme of Peace on Earth. The programme includes excerpts from Karl Jenkins The Armed Man, plus music by composers Goodall, Parry, Willcocks and favourite carols.
Exeter Festival Chorus
Founded in 1993, Exeter Festival Chorus has gained a reputation as one of the liveliest and most adventurous choirs in the South West. EFC is a choir of around 65 singers, attracting people from all parts of the South West region. We perform with professional orchestras and soloists and aim to bring choral music of the highest quality to our audiences. Under the inspired and dynamic musical direction of Nigel Perrin, EFC has become one of the region’s most versatile and highly acclaimed choral groups.
