Dartmouth Triathlon

Opening Times

Season (8 June 2025)
DayTimes
Sunday07:00 - 13:00

You start with a stunning swim in the clear waters of Blackpool Sands. Then it's onto the bike for the scenic out and back ride via Slapton, which features Devon's flattest road. You finish with an out & back run up the picturesque Blackpool Valley Road following a stream gently rising up to the turn. By creating a second 'bike drop' transition on the other side of the A379 we are able to eliminate the road crossing from the run and also have a left turn back into transition.

Numbers are strictly limited to 320 (200 for the Standard & 120 for the Sprint) and this event sells out well in advance!

We also have our increasingly popular 750m, 1500m & 3K sea swims on Saturday evening.

There's also the rare chance to camp on the beach for an additional charge.

Kit Requirements
The triathlon swim normally requires a wetsuit as the water temperature is likely to be around 14C.
