Learn the art of beautiful photography with lots of friendly donkeys!

Become a whiz behind the lens and take part in The Donkey Sanctuary's very own photography course, run by local photography tutor, Gemma Varney. There is a fantastic amount of wildlife, nature and landscapes at the sanctuary as well as the friendly residents to harness your new-found photography skills on.

Examples of Gemma's wonderful photography can be found on her website: www.gemmiev.com/ or her photography training website: www.devonphotographytraining.com/.

This course will teach you how to use your camera and the basic principles of photography, followed by a practical session where you can put everything you have learnt into practice with the sanctuary's photogenic donkeys, Gemma will also be on-hand to provide further advice and guidance.

If you are looking to advance your photography skills further, The Donkey Sanctuary are also running an Intermediate Photography Course on 17 July. For more information, visit: www.thedonkeysanctuary.org.uk/event/11845
