Start your summer holidays with Powderham Castle's Beastly Bygones Week!

Let ZooLab and our animal team transport you back to Tudor times and bring history alive! Our ZooLab ranger will cover the important topics and events of the Tudor era - from King Henry VIII and his six wives to Tudor diseases, medicine, education and much, much more! Not only that, your pupils will also get the chance to see, touch and handle our ZooLab animals!

Come along from the 29 July until the 2nd August to explore our Beastly Bygones! Workshops take place hourly from 12-4pm every day during normal opening hours.

Admission is included in your day ticket, and don't forget that there is 7 day free return, too! Enjoy a whole day out to Powderham with our guided tours, deer park safaris, delicious food and drink at the Courtenay Café and our wonderful Gift Shop!

You can buy day tickets online now to save time on the day.
