Discover Pom Stitch Tassel, a charming children's shop and craft hub located in the heart of South Devon. Situated on Bovey Tracey's high street at 53 Fore Street, this shop is a treasure trove of creative gifts, DIY craft kits, and fun activities for children. Open from 10AM to 4PM, Tuesday to Saturday, it’s the perfect stop for families and anyone looking to inspire creativity.
Owner Emma hosts a variety of workshops throughout the year. During school holidays, children can enjoy themed craft and sewing sessions, including sewing a fruit cushion, decorating gingerbread, and creating Pom Pom garlands. And the best part? Emma is DBS checked, so adults can drop off their children and enjoy a few hours of peace. You can also try the NEW parent-led ‘Craft and Cuppa’ sessions—a relaxed crafting experience ideal for rainy days or a creative family afternoon out.
In term time, children can join the sell-out Stitch Club after school (Tuesday to Thursday), while adults can explore crochet, knitted wire & bauble decorating in evening workshops, accompanied with a complimentary glass of fizz. Pre-booking is essential to guarantee your spot in all workshops and clubs.
Pom Stitch Tassel is also a popular choice for children’s birthday parties. Emma offers fun-filled Pom Pom and sewing parties, perfect for creative kids looking for a unique birthday celebration.
Whether you're searching for a creative gift or a family fun activity, pop into Pom Stitch Tassel to say hello and explore all it has to offer.
