The Tavistock Visitor Information Centre (VIC), is right in the heart of Tavistock located in the Guildhall complex in Bedford Square.
The service is manned by volunteers from Tavistock Heritage Trust. They offer bespoke advice so that visitors can optimise their visit to Devon's only world heritage town. It works closely with Visit Tavistock to ensure the most up to date list of Tavistocks busy events schedule.
As well as individual advice there is a wide range of FREE visitor information and a comprehensive range of publications covering local and regional history, walking and cycling guides and special interest publications.
There is also a great range of gifts and souvenirs.
All funds raised by these sales go to further the aims and objectives of Tavistock Heritage Trust.
Visitors can book tickets for the guided historical walks run by Trust volunteers.
The VIC is supported by Tavistock Town Council.
