What will you discover?
Group parking access is within the main car park within easy reach of all forest visitor facilities. Mini buses are welcome without prior booking. Coaches are advised to call ahead at busy times so that space can be reserved.
Walking
From easy-going trails to invigorating hikes, we have a trail for your group. Our all ability Discovery Trail is suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs, and mobility vehicles, with plenty of seating, amazing view points and play features for children along the way. Our choice of cycle trails offers something for all riders, from little ones riding their first bike, to downhill adrenalin junkies. Head out onto trails to suit all abilities and improve your technique on the Skills Area and Pump Loop.
Tramper hire
Visitors with reduced mobility or fitness can explore the forest with family and friends using our all-terrain mobility scooters. Visit countrysidemobility.org for more information or call 0300 0675826 to book. Full training is provided.

The whole forest is a playground but, if that’s not enough, we have play areas, a Discovery Trail packed with play features plus our popular Zog activity trail to enthral young visitors. For educational and school visits, contact helen.brown@forestryengland.uk for help creating the perfect curriculum-based trip.
