THE PIG lands in Devon…

THE PIG-at Combe is nestled within the Otter Valley near Honiton in Devon.

Totally secluded, this mellow, honey-coloured, Elizabeth gem is set in 3,500 acres of lush Devonshire countryside but is still easily accessible.

It all starts in the kitchen garden…

Thanks to our location being 8 miles from the coast, the menu consists of fresh fish as well as the very best Devonshire cheese and locally reared meat from butchers around the market town of Honiton.

As with the other PIG’s, what cannot be grown in THE PIG’s kitchen garden will be sourced within a 25-mile radius.

Dining with a difference…

Out goes the panelled and formal banqueting and drawing rooms to create a new restaurant where informality rules.

There is no polished panelling, pelmets and fitted carpets; instead it’s stripped back to signature bare wood floors and restored shutters. A principle double-height window brings light and incredible Devonshire views into the heart of the dining room.

The former dining rooms have become cosy and snug sitting rooms, leading off the bar for more chilling and quaffing by open fires.

Get together in the Georgian Kitchen…

The original Georgian Kitchen with its range and authentic fittings will become a private dining room with a ‘below stairs’ experience and is suitable for parties of up to 14 guests.
