This is the perfect destination for seafood lovers. Our seafood restaurant & deck overlooks the ocean and is right next door to the National Marine Aquarium where you can see fish from all over the world and learn about their great work preserving and managing our marine environment. The famous Mayflower Steps are right next door and Plymouth fish market is just feet away from Rockfish so you can watch the fishing boats land, whilst you're enjoying your seafood & with stunning views overlooking Plymouth Sound.
Enjoy sustainably caught, fresh, local fish landed that day which we prepare by the harbour side at dawn to be served to you by lunchtime that day. Your server will talk through the daily selection available, marking each fish species down on your tablecloth and the different ways our chefs cook it to order for you - on the chargrill or crisp fried.
ABOUT ROCKFISH
At Rockfish we are on a mission to change the way you experience seafood. Every day our expert team select the best fish directly from the fleet in Brixham and from the most sustainable fisheries in the world. We prepare and portion it right at the quay, just metres from where the boats come in and then send it to our restaurants, or pack it in our eco-packaging and send it to your door.
COASTAL RESTAURANTS
There’s nothing better than eating fresh seafood by the sea. All of our restaurants are based near or on the coast in Devon and Dorset, not far from Brixham where the fish is landed. At Rockfish you can enjoy delicious fresh fish, simply cooked for the whole family. As well as the selection of seasonal dishes on our wonderful menu, your server will let you know what has been landed from our fresh market fish that day.
Our fish is fresh, local & sustainable, it is also seasonal which means we update it to ensure we make the most of our local ingredients as well as reflect the types of fish that are landed at particular times of the year.
The fish you'll find on our menu in the most part comes from the fleet that lands daily at the quayside at Brixham fish market. Our skilled fishmongers prepare it right at the quayside in Brixham, before sending it to our restaurants each day before lunch. A member of our Rockfish team will mark your tablecloth to show you today’s availability of our daily landings menu, or take your pick from our Rockfish classics. We have wonderful British Fish & Chips, Moules Frites, Seafood Tacos and more. We even have a few dishes for those who are less keen on seafood like our Vegetable Tempura, and Pipers Farm Chicken.
Our children’s menu means the whole family can enjoy fresh sustainable seafood, and we even welcome well behaved dogs as long as they keep their paws on the floor.
At Rockfish we care about the environment, which means sustainable seafood, supporting our fabulous coastal communities, and some small added touches, like the water taps you’ll find at all our restaurants.
ONLINE SEAFOOD MARKET
For those times when you can’t visit us at our coastal restaurants, we can deliver seasonal and sustainable seafood from the quayside to your door. Our expert team walk the Brixham fish market every morning to hand select the best of the days landings. The fresh seafood is prepared and portioned by our skilled filleters at the quayside ready to send out to you on the very same day.
