Canonteign Falls is thrilled to announce its inclusion in the prestigious RHS Partner Garden scheme, joining over 230 remarkable gardens across the UK. This esteemed recognition solidifies Canonteign Falls as a must-visit destination for garden and nature enthusiasts.

Nestled in the heart of Devon, Canonteign Falls offers an unparalleled escape into nature. Visitors are welcomed by cascading waterfalls, ancient bluebell woodlands, and the enchanting Victorian Fern Garden, all set within a hanging valley beneath the dramatic Lady Exmouth Falls. The garden thrives in a unique microclimate, perfect for nurturing its exquisite fern collection, including majestic tree ferns (Dicksonia antarctica) and two Plant Heritage National Collections of hardy ferns: Polystichum and Dryopteris. This botanical haven beautifully combines natural splendor with historical restoration.

At 70 meters high, Lady Exmouth Falls is England’s tallest single-drop waterfall and serves as the breathtaking centerpiece of the 90-acre estate. Visitors can also explore tranquil woodlands, serene lakes, and open meadows. A visit wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the on-site café and farm shop, where you can savor local treats while soaking up the beauty of this picturesque Devon gem.

As an RHS Partner Garden, Canonteign Falls proudly supports the charitable work of the RHS and is delighted to offer free entry to RHS members throughout the 2025 open season, from March 24th to November 2nd. This partnership provides an incredible opportunity for members to explore the garden's lush landscapes and experience its natural and horticultural wonders.
