Whether it’s shopping late under the twinkly lights, hearing carols and Christmas music playing, browsing markets and sipping hot festive drinks from Princesshay’s Snow House Bar, there is something for everyone this December.
The Christmas snow bar and pods return this year as part of the centre’s countdown to Christmas. New for this year is an extended market stall area featuring a Christmas Tree archway and Bratwurst stall with huge Christmas Tree.
Visitors to Princesshay can enjoy late night shopping until 8pm beginning on Thursday 9th December leading up to Christmas.
If that wasn’t enough, visitors to Princesshay can meet the big man himself this year! Father Christmas is coming to Princesshay in his own Christmas lodge for the first three weekends in December, raising money for Princesshay’s Charity of the Year, Families for Children.
Making himself at home in a sparkling Christmas lodge on Bedford Street, Father Christmas will be meeting families and talking to children about his preparations for the big day. Inside the lodge, children can write and post a Christmas wish list letter to the North Pole free of charge. In addition, families can pay £8 per child to meet Father Christmas, with each child receiving a beautiful gift box including a certificate, Father Christmas’s magic key, a tree decoration and magic flying formula reindeer food. 25% of sales will be donated to Princesshay’s Charity Partner for 2021 – Families for Children.
