A Magical Christmas Attraction in South Devon!

A spectacular Christmas attraction is opening its doors for the second year running at Woodlands Family Theme Park in Devon. After a sell out first year, its back and better than ever!Santa has once again set up home at Woodlands where families can start their captivating journey wandering through the enchanting winter forest where all the Christmas Magic begins!  Families will walk through the North Pole and into Santa’s Magical World along with his hardworking elves before meeting the Jolly Man himself.

As well as meeting Santa, you will be guided by his friendly Elves, plus get the chance to visit the Toy Workshop and even his Mail Room! With nine rooms of Christmas magic to explore, a wrapped present from Santa, free edible reindeer food for Christmas Eve and much more, it’s a Christmas Experience not to be missed.
Mr Chris Bendall (Park Director) said ‘’We had not run a Christmas attraction at Woodlands for over a decade and we were blown away by the response from our guests. When we started getting requests for bookings for our un-announced 2018 Christmas event after visiting the Grotto we knew it was as magical as we hoped it would be. This year will be better than ever, and we can’t wait for our visitors to see what we have in store for them‘’.

Claire from Newton Abbot who visited last year said on Facebook after her visit “I highly recommend Woodlands Family Theme Park, we went yesterday and WOW, it was incredible!!! I don't know who was more excited, me or my son!!! The grotto was the best we have seen. Will be back next Christmas for sure”.

The Christmas Grotto opening for 2018 starts on the 1^st December and is open on the following dates: 1^st, 2^nd, 8^th, 9^th, 15^th, 16^th, 22^nd and 23rd December.

Tickets for the grotto must be booked online in advance.
Entry to the park and Santa’s Grotto costs £14.50 for children aged 3 to 11-years-old, £7 for children aged 24 to 35 months, £5 for children aged 12 to 23 months and just £4 for children under 12 months. If you have a Woodlands Annual Pass there are reduced rates for entry to our grotto. Tickets are available online only and must be booked in advance.

The tickets are selling out fast but there is still some limited availability. Extra time slots have been added due to the amazing response and Santa wanting to ensure he sees every child.

This magical experience is a treat for the whole family. The team at Woodlands hope this will become a new family Christmas tradition for everyone who visits.
