Dartington Live has launch its first seasonal programme of plays, performances and music. Hosted at a variety of venues around the renowned Dartington Estate, the Autumn season includes a diverse range of productions from regional, national and International artists. Dartington Live are proud to announce that the first Christmas show will be by local Award Winning production company The Wrong Crowd.
The critically acclaimed, sell out show The Girl with the Iron Claws, is a must this Christmas for everyone over the age of eight. This captivating and atmospheric fairytale, is a Nor-dic coming of age story sharing its roots with Beauty and the Beast, with stunning puppetry mixed with deft humour and enchanting music. The show tells the story of a King’s wilful daughter, who feels like a misfit. She dares to defy her family and to follow her hearts desire. One night a compelling dream leads her deep into the forest, where an encounter with a white bear sets her on a fateful path she could never have anticipated.

The Girl with the Iron Claws, is at Dartington from the 1st to the 30th December
Suitable for everyone, young and old over eight years.
Tickets are £8 and £6 on preview nights and £10 and £8 on all other dates.

The other shows this season are Lies by Award Winning Belgian Production Company Ontroerend Goed exploring the power and intrigue of money and The Money by Exeter based Kalieder’s a hit interactive showgame. Younger audiences will adore Fevered Sleep's Brilliant and Grass by Second Hand Dance, an interactive quirky dance show featuring wiggly creatures. And gracing our stage for one night only will be American folk singer, songwriter, violinist and disability advocate Gaelynn Lea.
