History of the Dartmouth Music Festival
he Dart Music Festival was started in May 1998 by Rob and Di Lyon, Nigel Way and Roger Kempton. Music lovers Rob and Di put on music regularly in the Seale Arms, which they were running at the time, and were inspired by a visit to Kinsale Jazz Festival to start a similar event in Dartmouth. From this small beginning the Festival has grown but has never lost its ethos of ‘Music For All’.
