Radio 1's Big Weekend is Coming to Powderham

Radio 1’s Big Weekend is coming to Powderham Castle on the 28th and 29th May 2016. So far Coldplay, Ellie Golding, Chase and Status, Bring Me the Horizon and Craig David have been announced to play the 2 day event. Hosted by Radio 1 DJ’s and attracting some of the biggest names in music, it is Europe’s largest free ticketed festival. Further details on the line up will be announced over the coming months, and details on tickets will be revealed on Radio 1 on the 21st March. This year’s event, the 13th, will be produced in partnership with Exeter City Council and Teignbridge District Council.

Powderham Castle

Powderham Castle is a six hundred year old Castle in Kenton, near Exeter. At Powderham you can enjoy entertaining guided tours which take you through secret doors and across haunted landings, explore the walled garden play area and pets corner, take a deer park safari or sample the local produce at the farm shop.
