Easter in South Devon

Easter is a fabulous time of year to explore South Devon, not only are the days getting longer and Spring is in the air, but there are so many great events taking place throughout the region. Below are some of the highlights.

Chocolate and Candy Fortnight

The amazing chocolatier returns with his tasty team from Pocketwatch Theatre who have affection for perfection in confection! There is plenty to see and you can discover the science behind sweets and chocolates.

A Perfect Easter at Becky Falls - with all activities included!

28 March to 12 April 2015
Every day during the Easter school holidays there are mini eggs galore for children completing the “find the stamps” letterboxing trail. Plus, during the four-day Easter weekend, kids get a free go in the Easter Tombola to win giant chocolate eggs!

Babbacombe Model Village - Easter Egg Trail

Easter Egg Trail at the Model Village, March 28th to April 12th - 10am to 4pm, A chocolate treat for all successful young explorers!

Easter at Pennywell Farm

Easter fun and games with massive Easter Egg Hunts on Sat 4, Sun 5 and Mon 6 April, plus guess the weight of the Easter bunny, meet the Easter babies and have a go at egg rolling and egg and spoon races.

Exeter Racecourse - Racedays

On 31 March in Assocation with Finlake Holiday Park Exeter Racecourse will be hosting Family Fun Day - with free children’s entertainment including Tractor Ted. Children aged under 18 can get free admission.

Free drop in activity days for the family – Re-make the Past!

Shadow Play with Maps and Lichens Join artists from our Remaking the Past exhibition and create your own exciting work to take home.

Peppa Pig at Devon’s Crealy

8 April 2015
Peppa Pig will delight guests with story time appearances in the Show Dome on 8th April. She will also be returning to Devon’s Crealy with her friend George on 12th August.
