662 reviewsThis wonderfully individual hotel is nestled perfectly between the villages of Inner and Outer Hope, perched above the hustle and bustle of the busy harbour.
Built in 1896, the Cottage opened its doors as a cosy guest house in 1927. The original building remains cottagey today, with old brick fire places and a hidden surprise in the Herzogin Cecilie Cabin made from the wood of the famous windjammer which met its doom near Hope Cove.
The Cottage Hotel was purchased by the Ireland family in 1973. They have developed the hotel over the last fifty years and have fashioned a traditional family run hotel offering visitors a personal touch with a traditional style of service, reminiscent of a times gone by.
Today, the 3-star Cottage Hotel provides visitors with simple accommodation, good honest food and a wonderful Devon welcome.
Our quirky and friendly 35-bedroom hotel offers an attractive Restaurant, Licenced Bar, Lounge and Sun terrace, just perfect for a proper Devon Cream tea.
Whatever your reasons for visiting, be it business, an event or simply for getting away from the pressures and strains of everyday living, allow us to look after you. Kick back, relax and enjoy the hospitality that Cottage provides. For more information, please visit; www.hopecove.com
