Enjoy your new found freedom and visit our multi award winning farm this half term. It’s the biggest in the South West, packed full of animals, activities, shows and displays. There’s something new happening every half hour, just listen for the bell.
See for yourself why Pennywell has been awarded Best Visitor Attraction in the Devon Tourism Awards for the 2nd consecutive year! Your visit begins with a warm welcome in the main farmyard where you can have a look at the activity board to see what’s going on. Take a snap on your smartphone to make sure you don’t miss a single thing! Then you can join in with fabulous farm activities like goat milking, ferret racing, deer feeding, egg collecting and much, much more. We have two shows from our world class family entertainers, every visit during half term.
Home to the world-famous Pennywell Miniature pigs, we are delighted to confirm that piggy cuddles are back! We promise that you will never have experienced anything quite like the phenomenon that is Pennywell pig racing. Come and cheer on your favourite porker in this truly unique event.
Hundreds of friendly farm animals, equines and pets are waiting to meet you. You’ll find alpacas, goats and goat kids, lambs, and highland cattle as you explore the farm. If you like equines, you’ll love Pennywell as we have everything from mighty heavy horses to miniature ponies, plus a family of miniature donkeys who just love attention from the visitors.
Farmyard rides are brought to you, courtesy of tractor power. All ages will enjoy the Tractor and Trailer ride or you could bounce around the track on the Red Rocket ride (6+ to adult) which we guarantee will leave you with a smile on your face. Challenge your friends on the Run Rabbit Go Carts (8+ to adult) or take a more leisurely ride on the Rainbow Railway which is great fun for all the family.
Budding young farmers can test their driving skills in the Pennywell Tractor Village and toddlers have their very own play village to explore. If there is any excess energy left to burn there are plenty of trampolines dotted around the farm, Crazy Golf and for the really energic there is an assault course which is great for mums and dads too! The fantastic news is that all this is included in the admission price.
Plenty of coffee and snack stops as well as light meals, cakes, ice creams and delicious Devon cream teas ensure that there is something for everyone. Pennywell is Devon’s friendliest day out! Don’t just take our word for it, check out our latest REVIEWS.
