Follow the A38 towards Plymouth and exit at Plympton. Follow the road towards Brixton / Elburton. At the large Elburton roundabout take the 2nd exit towards Wembury. At the next main junction (traffic lights) turn left towards Wembury. On approaching Wembury village continue straight on down a narrow country lane (do not turn right down Knighton Road into the village). At the old vicarage turn left and follow signs for Thorn.

Daily train services from London Paddington to Plymouth station, which is approx. 20min from Thorn by road. National Express coach services from London Victoria and Heathrow airport to Plymouth coach station. Nearest international airport is Exeter, however excellent European routes also from Bristol airport (linked to Plymouth via regular Falcon Coach service). Adventurous travels can also reach Plymouth by Ferry from France or Spain.
